Women's imaging is a subspecialty of diagnostic radiology dealing with diseases specific to women, involving the female reproductive organs and breasts. In addition, women's imaging involves evaluation of problems much more common in women such as osteoporosis. Types of women's imaging examinations include mammography, ultrasound, bone densitometry, fluoroscopy, and MRI.
